Influences on the Poet My influences are Irish philosophy and philosophers. Tyranny had a big deal on me too. Two of his children died while they were in infancy which made him dark minded. When he was in a happy mood he would write about his love life and about his wife. Most of all he was very interested in the dangers of the world. They include fire, rain, water, tornadoes, or thunderstorms. |
World Events
Battles between Christianity and Orthodox were going on. Human Society was at its strongest. Poland was also struggling for independence from Russia. Everyone was arguing over politics when England was at war. Thankfully, there were no world wars going on in the world at the time. Only 19% of his poetry started with I, My, or Me. Focused mainly on free-verse poetry. Not a self-centered poet, didn't usually write about himself. |
